Tapestry is a hybrid documentary series that uses verbatim interviews with members of the LGBTQIA+ community as the stimulus for a series of philosophical short films.  Episodes will navigate themes ranging from spirituality, mortality, grief to love and creation, inspiring the construction of an expressive and collaborative visual journey through the contemporary queer experience in Australia.

Crafting a gentle and profound conversation, Tapestry seeks to align the broader Australian audience with its LGBTQIA+ subjects by exploring the beliefs that bring us together, that highlight our humanity beyond borders of gender, sexuality and identity.

The series is currently in development with Screen Australia and in partnership with ACON.
